How Sound Sultan sang with his children last Father’s Day [VIDEO]

Following the death of Nigerian musician, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, a video of him singing with his kids last Father’s Day has gone viral online.

The singer strummed the guitar and sang while his children backed him up during a performance on Father’s Day, June 20.

Sadly, Sound Sultan died on July 11 after a “hard-fought battle” with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Meanwhile, the veteran Nigerian singer has gained over 100 thousand followers on his verified Instagram account, hours after he was announced dead.

Before his demise, he had 1.1 million followers, and few hours after his death was announced, his followers grew to 1.2 million and has continued to increase at a high rate.

Another notable change on his account is the number of comments on his most recent post. Sound Sultan’s most recent post has gained over 18,500 comments as against the 200 comments he gets on average on his posts.
