The Hon. Commissioner for Basic Education in Lagos State, Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, has commended Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON, member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, for his giant strides in education within his constituency.

Speaking during the official presentation of 1,750 free JAMB registration slips to students in Ifako-Ijaiye facilitated by Hon AdewaleTemitope, the Commissioner described the lawmaker’s initiative as a “laudable demonstration of grassroots impact and alignment with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus agenda, particularly in the area of Education.”

According to him, the gesture not only relieves parents and guardians of financial burden but also gives students a fair chance at higher education, thereby strengthening the state’s human capital development efforts.

He said Hon. Adewale Temitope’s consistent investment in education is commendable and reflects the kind of leadership the state needs—one that is people-oriented and focused on building a brighter future for the youth.

The Commissioner urged the beneficiaries to be of good conduct and focus on their studies while calling for parents to be disciplined and firm in handling their wards and children.

Since 2019 when he assumed office as a lawmaker from Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01, Hon Adewale Temitope, through the Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives (ATA-EI), has given out 5,850 free JAMB forms to indigent students with over 100 of them on scholarships at various higher institutions of learning across the country.
