"He's not going to allow himself be bullied by Chelsea" — Neville

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has once more taken a critical stand against West London side Chelsea over the club’s treatment of England international Raheem Sterling.

The former Manchester City star has in the current transfer window, seen his stocks at Chelsea dwindle with the new manager Enzo Maresca looking to force Sterling out of the Bridge. However, Gary Neville has slammed the Blues for their mistreatment of the player, whose potential exit from West London currently hangs in the balance.

As the transfer window nears its climax, Manchester United legend Gary Neville has issued a stern warning to Chelsea: Raheem Sterling won’t be pushed around. The 29-year-old winger, currently sidelined under Enzo Maresca’s regime, is at the center of intense transfer speculation, with links to Arsenal and Manchester United swirling.

However, Neville believes that Sterling is not one to be strong-armed into a move he doesn’t want. “Sterling isn’t someone who is going to be bullied by Chelsea. If it’s not right for him, then he won’t go,” Neville asserted on Sky Sports.

With the clock ticking down, Chelsea may find themselves in an awkward situation—forced to keep a player they’ve tried to offload. As Neville suggests, the Blues could be left with no choice but to shake hands and continue with Sterling until the next transfer window.

It will be interesting to see how this saga goes for both Chelsea and Raheem Sterling, and even more interesting if the former Man City and Liverpool player ends up at Old Trafford.
