Heavy Downpour in Owerri sweeps woman away
Talk about getting swept off your feet by nature, a woman in Owerri, Imo State was reportedly got by the heavy downpour in the State and was swept off by the flood as a result.
A witness of the scene narrated how the incident occurred.
He revealed that the woman in question had fell into a gutter which wasn’t visible to her due to the flood. The witness had tried helping her out but the woman slipped further off his grip.
The witness further revealed that on lookers around the scene had gone to the spot where the water discharges but were unable to find the woman.
The woman in question was identified as Ngozi Adiele with the incident having occurred on Tuesday June 14.
It remains to be seen if additional reports would come up on her whereabouts.
