He was never Sick—Brother of Abuja Photographer who committed Suicide

It indeed was a tragic one as Emmanuel Omole left behind a suicide note to family prior to his death.

And now, his brother Peter Omole has come out to reveal his brother never suffered from any ailment he was aware of, contrary to what the suicide note implied.

The deceased who was found dead in a room on June 2022 after drinking insecticide, penned a suicide note explaining the reason behind his decision.

The suicide victim who worked as a photographer in Abuja, explained that he had been going through a lot of challenges which he found difficult to share with others.

“I’ve been surrounded by people who may have honestly thought I was okay but I haven’t been okay for a while. I’m really fighting some battles that I can’t even tell anyone. I wish I could open up to people close to me, but I guess this is bigger than me. Now, it is winning the battle over me,”

His suicide note read in part.

However, his brother, Peter Omole told reporters, contrary to instinctive belief by some, that his brother was actually healthy prior to the suicide.

He revealed that the suicide came as a shock to him, insisting that the 28-year-old never suffered health complications.

“He didn’t explain to anyone even though he said he had been fighting the battle for long.

”He lived a healthy life, especially this year, and there wasn’t anything wrong with him at all. As far as I’m concerned, he didn’t suffer from any sickness.” He said.

Omole then went on to reveal that the body had to be buried almost immediately, to protect their mother.

“They’ve buried him because my mum was acting strange; she wanted to enter the room to see him. So, people decided to bury him so that she won’t continue feeling bad.”
