Souness, Gary Neville Not Having Any Of VAR Nonsense

According to Gary Neville, Marcus Rashford has been studying Cristiano Ronaldo lately, owing to the Englishman’s performances for United this season in critical games that have scored the Red Devils maximum points.

This came after the English forward led Manchester United to a 1-0 victory over West Ham United on Sunday with an outstanding soaring header.

For the Red Devils, who are now unbeaten in eight games, Rashford’s effort in the second half was sufficient to secure the three points.

Neville was pleased with the 24-year-old whose goal now marks his 100th for Manchester United.

“I love goals like that!” Neville said on Sky Sports.

“This is Cristiano Ronaldo heading form. I don’t see Rashford do that too many times.

“But he’s got one of the best headers in the world to watch every day in training and that was just like him.

“There’s a real intent in Rashford’s game in this first half. His confidence is back. It wasn’t so long ago people were saying he should be sold.”

Cristiano Ronaldo since his return to Manchester, has seen criticisms on him mainly based on the fact, the Portugal international hasn’t lived up to his potential of influence the younger prospects of the team to becoming better.

Now, the Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville has admitted one way or the other, the 5 time Ballon d’or winner is rubbing off on Rashford.
