He is a Big disappointment—Gabriel Agbonlahor

Aston Villa legend, Gabriel Agbonlahor did not take the loss to newly promoted side, Bournemouth very lightly as he had quite the few words to say about the team’s performance in the Premier League season opener.

For Gabriel Agbonlahor, he had a few problems with new signing, Philippe Coutinho as he stated he was ‘lost for words’ regarding his display and the disappointing weekend.

Aston Villa went away to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday on the Opening weekend of the league and promptly fell 2-0 losers to Scott Parker’s promoted side, AFC Bournemouth.

The Villans saw a lead given to the Cherries by Jefferson Lerma with Kieffer Moore wrapping the opening weekend occasion within 10 minutes to final whistle.

And for Villa, it was Philippe Coutinho who was the villain as his profile as Villa’s star player failed to live up to the expectations he was known for.

In response, Gabriel Agbonlahor had quite the words for the midfielder if Coutinho is to become a success at the club.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said:

“The big disappointment was [Philippe] Coutinho. He’s been brought in by Steven Gerrard and he was non-existent and didn’t really get on the ball.

“He had a shot in the second half and it went horribly wide and you think, this isn’t Coutinho. I’m lost for words.”

Philippe Coutinho was almost the Liverpool hero
