Police officials in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, apprehended 15 suspects in connection with the looting of a warehouse in the nation's capital.

Police officials in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja apprehended 15 suspects in connection with the looting of a warehouse in the nation’s capital.

An incident occurred where intruders broke into the Agric Department Strategic food store in Tasha, Abuja on Sunday and stole food items and other valuables.

A statement released by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, mentioned that the police arrested some of the troublemakers and retrieved stolen goods.

She reported that the suspects were found with twenty-six bags of Maize, five Motorcycles, and some vandalized aluminium roofings.

“The Command wishes to state that normalcy has since been restored to the environ and the situation is very much under control, as fifteen (15) suspects were arrested, including two local security guards employed by the warehouse management, the statement added.
