Infamous Nigerian businessman, Linus Nmuo, also known as Sakatan, was shot dead by gunmen in Imo State’s Oguta Local Government Area.
TopNaija gathered that he was murdered in the early hours of Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his house at Umuezikegbu in the Egbuoma village of the Oguta LGA.
According to a family source who confirmed with news publication, The Punch in Owerri, when the assailants arrived, they proceeded to their victim’s residence and took him out.
They shot him many times and made sure he was killed before fleeing the area.
“Livinus Nmuo, also known as Sakatan, from Umuezikegbu Egbuoma in Oguta LGA, Imo State, has been assassinated. He was killed in the early hours of today, Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was my cousin,” the source said.
The latest tragedy occurred just a few days after the traditional ruler of the Otulu village in the Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Eze Joe Achulor, was assassinated.
A few days earlier, the ward chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Ife/Akpodim/Chokoneze ward of the state’s Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Govt Area was shot dead in front of his wife.
