Gunmen abduct Punch journalist, neighbor’s sons in Abuja

Some suspected armed bandit has kidnapped Okechukwu Nnodim, a journalist with The Punch newspaper.

Nnodim, a business reporter, was kidnapped in Abuja on Thursday.

TopNaija gathered that the attackers also kidnapped two sons of his neighbor, Mrs. Faith Gbeyide, a widow.

The trio was taken from an isolated and hilly Byzahin community, a suburb of Kubwa.
The gunmen gained access to the compound by jumping the fence after firing gunshots in the air.

“The gunmen broke into the room through the window before whisking their victims away in the difficult terrain.

“The FCT Police Commissioner. Bala Ciroma and his men have visited the community for an on-the-spot preliminary investigation into the incident,” a source told PRNigeria.
