Guinness, alongside Football Icon Thierry Henry celebrated individuals Made of Black at its exclusive ‘Black Pass’ event which held at The Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja on December 18th 2017. The ‘Black Pass’ event was specially put together to celebrate people that have achieved success in their fields of endeavour and are ‘Made of Black’; individuals who are exceptional, creative, bold, authentic, and inspiring. ‘Made of Black’ reflects a movement being created by a new generation of Africans whose boldness cannot be contained and who are fueling a progressive, new spirit of Africa. Guinness also embodies this mind set. It is an iconic beer that has the darkest liquid, but the brightest flavours. A beer that has lived in the hearts and minds of millions in Africa and across the world for over 250 years but has always had the authenticity, boldness and vision to do things differently. Guests enjoyed special performances by Godwin Strings, 2Baba and Simi who taught the football Icon a few Yoruba words.
