The graduating students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, have lauded the Beyond Ife group for the annual entrepreneurship programme.

The programme held in the campus last Saturday featured different professionals who spoke on entrepreneurship.

The Managing Director PZ Cusson Alex Goma and Funmilola Bucknor, a Talent Manager at Samsung Electronics, taught the students how to answer questions during job interviews.

Tunde Ajadi, one of the graduating students who spoke with The Nation said,”This is the biggest entrepreneurship program I have attended on OAU campus. They are really creating the future”.

Adeolu Akinyemi, a senior consultant who has worked with companies like P&G, A2W among other big brands in the country spoke extensively on how to become entrepreneurs.

“We can do a lot while we wait for jobs. When I was on campus, I went into teaching. Our vision was to impact life. I have never used my certificate after I left school. All you need is a mentor.

“Your mentor paves way for you. Please engage in enough activities to feed yourself,” he said

The career programme held every second semester is aimed at preparing students for market place excellence.

Other speakers included Digital Marketing consultant; Adeola Kayode, founder NaijaStartUp; Aramide Abe and Serial entrepreneur Somiari Jaja.
