Governor Okezie-Ikpeazu opens up on fighting Senator Theodore Orji
Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has revealed why he will not fight his predecessor, Senator Theodore Orji.
Ikpeazu also gave some reasons he does not envisage the possibility of a face-off between him and Orji.
Rather that the governor had called on the people of Ukwa Ngwa to remain eternally grateful to Senator Orji for ensuring that the governorship seat rotated to them.
Ikpazu spoke in Nbawsi in Isiala Ngwa North Council, at the 2018 Easter Convention of The Apostolic Church, Aba Field yesterday.
Governor Ikpeazu said he is an Ngwa son, who was well breast-fed and knows how to pay back good gestures.
“I had been in good terms with him yesterday, I am in good terms with him today and tomorrow.
“Why should I quarrel with him? I am an Ngwa son that was well breast-fed.
“I believe that every good gesture should be reciprocated and repaid and my people did not send me to go and begin to quarrel with my predecessor.
“That is not the motive of my coming to power,” he said.
