Google has unveiled a new feature called “Switch here,” making it easier for users to transition between devices during meetings on Google Meet.

With this feature, users can effortlessly move an active Google Meet call from their computer to their smartphone or vice versa, without disruptions to the session.

Additionally, Google has introduced a function allowing users to join a call from two different devices simultaneously.

This means users can have their call active on multiple devices, such as a kitchen tablet and office computer, enabling flexibility for multitasking scenarios.

The “Switch here” button appears on the meeting window of the other device while a call is active, allowing users to seamlessly transition between devices.

This feature is accessible to both personal Google accounts and Workspace customers and is being rolled out to users starting today.
