Globacom Nigeria on Tuesday announced the nationwide launch of its 4G LTE service.

For a while now there has been rumours about the impending launch and also reports suggesting that Glo would be rolling out 4G in Zaria, Kaduna this week. Well it’s official now. The launch of the 4G LTE makes Glo the third mobile telecom service to roll out 4G in Nigeria after Ntel and MTN.

According to Glo’s official Twitter account, the 4G plans will range from N50 to N18,000. The fact that the plans are affordable isn’t surprising; Glo does have one of the best data plans in the country. If you’re a Glo user, you can check if 4G is available in your area by dialling *777#.
