“Get Xhaka back” — Piers Morgan to Arsenal

Prominent British TV Broadcaster, Piers Morgan, known for his ardent support for Arsenal, has voiced his strong opinion, urging Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to consider bringing back Granit Xhaka to Emirates Stadium. Xhaka had departed Arsenal last year to join Bayer Leverkusen.

Morgan, a vocal advocate for the Gunners, emphasized the need for Arsenal to secure a midfield enforcer akin to the iconic figures of Patrick Vieira or Roy Keane to bolster their squad.

This call comes in the wake of Arsenal’s recent complaint to the PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Limited) regarding Bukayo Saka being consistently targeted by opposing teams during matches.

However, Morgan expressed his discontent with Arsenal’s approach, deeming it ’embarrassing’.

Expressing his views on his social media account, Morgan wrote,

“Embarrassing. Instead of whining about tough tackles, we need to sign a Vieira/Keane style enforcer who will dish it out even harder… or get Xhaka back.”

Granit Xhaka, who spent seven years at Arsenal following his move from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016, holds a significant history with the club.
