Gender-based violence culprits will be paraded henceforth- Lagos
The Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has said the state will publicly parade culprits of gender-based violence henceforth.
The ministry’s Domestic Violence Unit revealed this during the commemoration of the 16-day activism against gender based violence for youths.
Tagged ‘Orange the World, Stop Gender- Based Violence against women and girls now!’, the event was held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Lagos.

“The participants were urged to be change agents in rebuilding cultural norms and practices that spike gender – based violence within the society.
“Perpetrators of all forms of Gender-Based Violence, will henceforth be paraded publicly, as measures to curb such societal menace,” the statement revealed.
