GAC approves Sanwo-Olu for 2nd term
The Governance Advisory Council, GAC, of the APC, has approved Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to remain in office for 2nd term.
This means Sanwo-Olu can now re-contest on the platform of APC in the 2023 gubernatorial poll in Lagos.
The GAC, which is the paramount political decider in APC for Lagos State, agreed on the approval following a meeting at State House, Marina on Monday afternoon.
Sources revealed that the governor will declare his intention to contest for the governorship poll in 2023 soon.
APC spokesman in Lagos, Seye Oladejo confirmed this when asked, he said, “Yes it’s true. Well deserved.”
