Gabriel Jesus tips Him and Richarlison for the Golden Boot

Arsenal new signing, Gabriel Jesus may have just arrived at the Emirates, but he is already looking forward to the North London derby and the golden boot.

In an interview, he revealed he is tipping a challenge with Tottenham’s new signing, Richarlison De Andrade, former Everton player for the Premier League Golden Boot next season.

While speaking, the 25 year old heaped praises on the fellow Brazilian international now arch rivals, saying:

“I like him. He’s a very good guy. Amazing player.” He said.

“So, I wish him all the best. But not against Arsenal,” he added.

“I hope we both can be fighting for the Golden Boot at the end of the season,” Jesus told Sky Sports.

Both players changed clubs this summer, with Jesus heading to the Emirates from Manchester City for £45million and Richarlison going to Tottenham from Everton for £52m; a fee which to some football analysts seemed surprising.

The 25-year-old spoke about the views on Richarlison while responding to a question on who he thinks would score more goals in the upcoming campaign.

Jesus scored 58 goals and made 29 assists in 159 Premier League games for Manchester City since his debut in January 2017.

Though Richarlison hasn’t had that much of an highlight in his career aside helping Everton avoid relegation in the final games of the Premier League last season, his big move to Tottenham may ultimately switch things to his favor.
