Future pays Big to settle suit with Rocko

Hip-hop act, Future and his producer, Rocko, have been warring (legally, of course) for the better part of the last 18 months.

Rocko sued Future claiming the rapper cut a side deal with Epic Records that precluded Rocko from making millions. Future later countersued saying his deal with Rocko never made him exclusive and also claimed it was Rocko who owed him money.

The funny thing is that these two used to be friends.

However, it seems both parties have settled–at least legally. The future is going to be doling out huge cash to his ex-pal, though. Sources say the payout is ball-parked around 7 figures.

According to the Court documents, obtained by TMZ and filed by both sides, request a dismissal of the case. Rocko’s lawyers say he’s happy with the “very successful result.” The legal team wouldn’t give up an exact number. Rocko was originally seeking $10 million. Future still hasn’t released any comment.
