Future Awards Africa 2018: Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Timi Dakolo And Others Set To Perform This Sunday

Top notch artistes and entertainers Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Timi Dakolo, Teni the Entertainer, Ric Hassani and comedian Kenny Blaq are getting ready to hit the stage this Sunday, 16 December, 2018 at the 13th edition of The Future Awards Africa taking place at The Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

With ex-Big Brother Naija Housemate, Tobi Bakre and Media Personality Bolanle Olukanni hosting this year’s award ceremony, it is aimed at commemorating a whole new class of philanthropists, creators, activists and innovators whose unparalleled impact have left a positive mark in Africa’s changing reputation.

Artistes at The Future Awards Africa 2018

With 100 nominees selected by the Central Working Committee this year, the awards event acknowledges their relentless hard work and inspiring innovations that have made impact through social enterprise and creativity in Africa.

With the theme this year as “Nigeria’s New Tribe”, Some of the nominees at this year’s Awards include artistes, Burna Boy and Simi; athletes, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, and Thursdaline Peter; actors, Adesua Etomi and Alex Ekubo; entrepreneur, Chidi Ajaere; scientist, Dr. Mahmoud Maina, and many more.

The Future Awards Africa 2018‎ is presented by The Future Project, Guaranty Trust Bank, and H20h.

The official hashtags for 2018 is #TFAA2018 and #NigeriasNewTribe.

About The Future Awards Africa
The Future Awards Africa has been called the ‘Nobel Prize for Young Africans’, and the ‘most important youth awards’ by Forbes. It is a set of prizes given annually to celebrate and increase innovative impact, creativity and enterprise amongst young Africans aged 18 – 31. It has produced over 150 winners and over 1550 nominees since its first edition in 2006.

The British Council on Wednesday, 12 December, 2018 hosted The Future Awards Africa 2018 nominees to a reception in Lagos.
