FSG OUT NOW: Jude Bellingham to Madrid sparks Liverpool fury

Jude Bellingham was already a Liverpool player even before he was a Liverpool player, until Fabrizio Romano broke all Reds’ heart with the announcement that La Liga giants, Real Madrid were fast in talks to poach the English International in the Summer from Borussia Dortmund.

The media for the past season has sparked talks and reports of Jude Bellingham preferring a move to Merseyside, with rumors even circulating that the Dortmund star’s father favored a move to the Reds. It got Liverpool fans believing; a report that was on the surface nothing but baseless rumors.

And now with the revelation that Liverpool and its owners would not favor nabbing the signature of the England international, the Reds fan base have taken up arms against its owners in protest.

Twitter now trends the hashtag #FSGOUTNOW, with Liverpool fans airing their frustrations of what they believed was a promise that the owners Fenway Sports Group were holding out on signing players because they were after a marquee signing they were guaranteed was Jude Bellingham.

Now out from the slumber, the fans have turned against the owners on social media.

It is a stretch to believe social media rhetoric will bother the American ownership of Liverpool, but this summer will place a lot of focus on the club and the Americans concerning how their business will be conducted.

More interestingly, the world will want to pay a lot of attention towards Liverpool’s performance on the pitch next season which should it be anything like the current season, will heighten the distrust FSG already has incurred for itself with what Liverpool fans believed was a promise.

It won’t go without saying that #FSGOUTNOW hashtag won’t be the last we see of it moving forward on social media, and if Fenway Sports Group has any interest preventing a total fall out with its club’s fanbase, they would want to act quick on its PR decision before things get out of hand.
