Fox News  Resolves $787.5 million, $2.7 billion lawsuit From Other Companies Resurfaces

Popular news network Fox news  has reportedly resolved the  $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over allegations of defamation.

Dominion Voting Systems had  filed a lawsuit against Fox News and several of its hosts for spreading false information about the company’s involvement in the 2020 US presidential election.

After  Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems settlement comes to an end,  the network still faces a significant legal threat from another voting technology company, Smartmatic USA.

Smartmatic USA has filed a $2.7 billion lawsuit against Fox News, alleging that the network spread false information about the company’s involvement in the election and its ties to foreign governments.

Fox News has denied the allegations made by Smartmatic USA and has vowed to fight the lawsuit. The network has defended its coverage of the election and maintains that it was reporting on legitimate concerns raised by former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

The outcome of this lawsuit could have significant implications for the future of Fox News and the broader media landscape. It raises questions about the responsibility of news organizations to report accurate information and the potential consequences for those that fail to do so.
