Four kidnapped students of Bethel Baptist School regain freedom

Another four kidnapped students of Bethel Baptist High School, Maraban Damishi, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have been freed.

Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State, Rev. John Hayab, confirmed the development on Monday and have been reunited with their parents.

“Yes, another four students escaped from their abductors on Sunday, July 25, and have been reunited with their parents,” Rev. Hayab said.

The state chairman of CAN said despite the new development, 83 students are still in captivity.

Recall that bandits in the early hours of Monday, 5th July; 2021 invaded Bethel Baptist High School and abducted an unspecified number of students.

The Kaduna Police Command, through the Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige confirmed the new development.
