Football Villain put through the sword by Ex

Published

On the touchline, he is known as the master of the dark arts, and considered by many as the epitome of football villainy as many have put his tactics into question and called him out for what they would call ‘negative football’. Diego Simeone would deny it though.

But outside that, the Atletico boss is just a regular man trying to deal with an ex who he feels is ripping into him and tearing his family apart, in an outright rant on Carolina Baldini; a woman he has been separated from for over a decade now.

“I’m tired of her going out to talk after 15 years.” The Argentine lamented, in response to his ex-wife speaking about their failed marriage years on to the media.

The football manager has accused Baldini of breaking their family and its code, and will be prepared to take the case to court to prevent her taking him to the cleaners on national television considering they have separated for a decade and both parties should have moved on.

“She continues to speak as if no one had memory. I got tired of trying to take care of my children and protect them of the environment.” The Argentine revealed, in response to what led to the union falling apart.

“There is no turning back. She broke strong family codes and I have no more patience.”

The Atletico boss recently tied the knot in 2019 for the second time after a decade separation from first wife, marrying Argentine model and TV show host Carla Pereyra.

Obviously, Ms Baldini watches very little football to know what a defensive maestro the Atleti boss is, or how animated he can be on the touchline to want to drag the media space with Simeone.
