First Bank Upgrades Service To Protect E-Banking Experience

First Bank of Nigeria Ltd., has upgraded its Internet banking solution, FirstOnline with improved features to promote and safeguard electronic banking experience of its customers.

The bank in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Tuesday, said that the improved features would allow customers experience payment efficiency, versatility and productivity in their business transactions.

The statement said that the user friendly and secure internet banking tool, which could be carried out on one’s computer or mobile devices was designed for both individual and corporate customers.

It said that customers would experience with ease, cutting-edge banking services anywhere, at any time and place, with good internet connection.

The statement said that some of the leading edge features on FirstOnline include; self-verification for intercepted transactions, statement download in different file formats, and multiple transactions with a single token entry, among others.

Mr Chuma Ezirim, the bank’s Group Head, e-Business, was quoted as saying that the modern age was driven by technological advancement in business activities, including banking.

Ezirim said that the bank would leave no stone unturned to continually reinvent and enhance its electronic banking operations across the board with a view to constantly providing secure and efficient state of the art banking services round the clock to teeming customers.

He said that the upgraded FirstOnline was also designed to promote flexibility in electronic banking while ensuring a user friendly and secure customer experience.
