FG suspends Accountant-General of the Federal indefinitely

The Federal GovernmentFederal Government has reportedly suspended Ahmed Idris, as Accountant General of the Federation, indefinitely.

The suspension was effected by the Minister of Finance, budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, on Wednesday, May 18.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC had accused Ahmed of defrauding the Nigerian government of N80 bill.
