Femi Gbajabiamila speaks on appointment as Tinubu’s chief of staff
Outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has responded to rumours about his purported appointment as Chief of Staff to newly elected President Bola Tinubu.

Through out the day, numerous media outlets reported on the alleged appointment of Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff.
Later, Femi Fani-Kayode, the Director of New Media for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Committee, added his voice to the discussion and confirmed the appointment via his Twitter account. Fani-Kayode praised the decision, considering it a well-deserved honour.
However, when Gbajabiamila was approached to comment on the reports regarding his appointment as President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, he neither confirmed nor denied the information.
Instead, he expressed his desire for an official announcement to be made.
In response, he stated, “Let the system follow its course.”
