Femi Adebayo Showers appraisal on his father, Actor Oga Bello as he clocks 70
Popular Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has showered love on his beloved father and actor, Adebayo Salami as he celebrates birthday.
Femi Adebayo took to his Instagram page to shower birthday prayers on his father and veteran actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello as he clocks 70 years today, 9th May 2022.
His son, Femi Adebayo described his father as an amazing best friend, confidant, gist partner, among other things.
The box office king also prayed that his father’s joy will never know any boundaries and he would enjoy the fruit of his labour.
He wrote: “My dear dad, today you are 70. I wish you happiness with good health and long life. You have been an amazing best friend, confidant, padi, aproko partner, in short, my everything”.
“I pray that your joy will never know any boundaries. May God bless you with long life to continue to enjoy the fruit of your labour and may God continue to guide and guard you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us! @adebayo.salami”.
Oga Bello is one of the outstanding actors in the Yoruba genre of Nollywood, born on 9 May 1953 in Lagos State where he had both his primary and secondary education.
He began his acting career in 1964, with a group called Awada Kerikeri, formerly called Young Concert Party, under the leadership of late Ojo Ladipo, popularly known as Baba Mero. In 1978, Salami took the mantle of leadership of the group, after the death of Ojo Ladipo which brought him into the limelight.
He featured in the first Yoruba film, Ajani Ogun, in which the late Adeyemi Afolayan, the father of Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan, plays the lead role.[7]
