Father of 6 commits suicide after discovering wife of 16 years was cheating

A father of six identified as Felix Edore committed suicide on Friday, February 28 in Sapele, Delta State after discovering that his wife of 16 years was cheating on him.

The deceased said to be a cab driver who shuttled between Abraka and Eku communities, drank the poisonous Sniper insecticide after uncovering his wife’s extramarital affair.

An eyewitness who spoke to The Nation said;

“He came home that evening and was as usual very lively. He brought his car and was complaining about the radiator or so. It was when he left and came back that we learnt he had drunk Sniper.”.

It was further learnt that Edore was rushed to the clinic before being confirmed dead on Saturday morning.
