Fatal Accident Claims Five Lives, Leaves Two Injured on Kaduna-Kafachan Road

Tragedy struck on Tuesday night as a fatal accident occurred on the Kaduna-Kafachan road, leading to the loss of five lives and leaving two others with severe injuries.

According to Mr. Sunday Abdul, a resident of Idon community along the Kaduna-Kafachan road, he heard a loud bang close to his residence at around 10 pm on Tuesday night.

Rushing to the scene of the accident, he found a Golf car turned upside down, with five people already dead and two others seriously injured.

In an interview with DAILY POST on Wednesday, Mr. Abdul shared his account of the incident, stating that he retired to bed around 10 pm when he heard what sounded like a thunderstorm.

He immediately ran to the scene, which was initially covered in dust. As the dust settled, he discovered five dead bodies and two individuals struggling for their lives.

The deceased and injured were quickly taken to the Idon General Hospital, according to Mr. Abdul.

Despite attempts to obtain a comment from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Marshal in Kaduna, no response was received at the time of reporting.

The cause of the accident and further details surrounding the incident remain unknown.
