Fani-Kayode in court again over medical report forgery [PHOTOS]

Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode was pictured arriving in court this morning for his arraignment before Justice O. O. Abike-Fadipe of Lagos Special Offences Court, Ikeja over forgery of the medical report.

Back in November, the former Aviation Minister was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly forging a medical report during his trial for money laundering at the Federal High Court, Lagos.

On 22 October, EFCC operatives of arrested on a 17-count charge of unlawful retention, unlawful use and unlawful payment of money in the tune of about N4.9 billion, a charge brought against them by the anti-graft commission.

Fani-Kayode was a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party. He was with the opposition’s All Progressive Congress until June 2014 when he returned to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.
