Famous People you didn’t know support Chelsea
Charlize Theron, there is a photo of the ‘Fast and Furious’ star holding a Chelsea kit, but we do not know how far her love for the Blues go, but we would for sure add her to the list.
Will Ferrell is another famous Hollywood Chelsea supporter who has been spotted on a number of occasions donning the Blues’ kit.
When we talk about Nigerian Blues who show off the flag and are perhaps proud of joining the banter side of things; a few Nigerian celebs deserve a separate mention.
Peter Okoye
Following a terrible season, the Nigerian artiste has stopped posting about the Blues, perhaps trying to avoid the bantering eyes of his social media fans who wouldn’t hesitate to troll Peter Okoye after a bad game.
The icon of the P-Square fame is also famous for showing his love for the Blues on social media.
Frank Edoho, famous for hosting the Game Night show, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’, is perhaps the one celebrity who isn’t shy about letting the world know how he feels about Chelsea.
He may not be going on social media to ask his fans “Who Wants To Be A Chelsea fan“, but he sure has shown his dislike of Chelsea’s hard rivals, Manchester United and Arsenal on his Twitter. Of course, the famous personality did release a post recently where he jovially begged Victor Osimhen not to play in the premier league if it meant him playing for either Manchester United or Arsenal.
It is ironic however as some insiders say, Victor Osimhen is or perhaps was a Manchester United fan himself. Tough luck, Uncle Frank.
Good or bad, the West-London club continues to attract fans on sentimental levels, transcending geographical boundaries.
The good thing about Chelsea having a poor season? At least, we won’t have a couple of celebrity fans showing off the Blue flag on our social media feeds anytime soon to ‘us’ rival fans of the club.
