Falz excited to join Tinsel cast

Popular comic rapper, Folarin Falana, who is popularly known as Falz da bad guy, is the latest cast member of Nigeria’s longest- running hit series, Tinsel. The son of respected lawyer, Femi Falana joins the cast as Kayode Beko-Williams, a young socialite with a heart of gold.

The elated actor opened up to encomium.ng in a short chat.  According to him, fans should expect the other side of him this time around.  Not the typical comedian they are used to. “It feels great to join the cast of Tinsel. I am playing a much serious role this time in Tinsel, not what my fans are used to seeing Falz play.” Since venturing into acting, Falz’s fame has been on the rise. He clinched the best actor in a comedy series at the 2016 AMVCA head a couple of months back.
