Fabrizio Romano debunks Mbappe’s Contract extension talks

The internet has been buzzing with a number of transfer rumors as the season nears its closing stages, with talks about Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe’s future the media’s chief ingredient in cooking up latest transfer gists. And sometimes, the reports could be misleading.

One of those reports recently has to do with the leaked report that Kylian Mbappe’s camp has agreed to a 2 year contract extension with current club; Paris Saint German to put behind the rumor mill of him joining Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer.

But transfer expert and reliable journalist, Fabrizio Romano has come up with reports to debunk the news and bring for Madrid fans somewhat a sigh of relief as he denies the report of a Mbappe contract extension with Paris.

In his report, he details how Mbappe’s mother and the camp are taking out time to consider what the best move would be for the French star in terms of his fledging career as a sportsman, and haven’t quite decided on whether to agree a contract extension with PSG as per reports or sign a contract agreement with Real Madrid.

The Kylian Mbappe move to Real Madrid has been the most followed sports news over the month leading to the summer, as numerous publications have announced a deal with Real whereas the star himself has reportedly denied the reports while still maintaining his allegiance to current club PSG.

PSG on the other hand aren’t ready to let go of their star sensation, even denying a record fee before the season from Madrid for a player who only has one year left of his contract. The both clubs aren’t giving up as the world awaits how the chess game between them would go along the way or if other clubs would sneak in behind both clubs to steal the star for free.

From how it’s going, PSG seems less worried losing the star to another club as long as it isn’t named Real Madrid considering how they have frustrated the Spanish side’s efforts last summer.
