Expect more harsh words from Ten Hag—Diogo Dalot

Manchester United defender, Diogo Dalot is a very firm believer of his manager, Erik ten Hag and in support of his manager has defended his tactics.

The Portugal international has told his Man United teammates to be ready to receive more harsh words from the manager should they ever fall short or slag off in training or in games.

This came after the team threw away a 2 goal lead in the preseason game against Aston Villa in last Saturday’s fixture.

The manager hit the team hard with criticisms, a lot which was claimed to involve the use of harsh words.

It’s what has led Diogo Dalot to come forward in defense of the gaffer, suggesting their new boss uses stern words to help the team deal with the demands he is placing on them.

“It’s discipline,” Dalot told Manchester United media.

“We need to be ready for that, to be ready to hear things that maybe we don’t want to hear. But I think everything is for the greater good of the team and that’s the most important thing.

“We need to be ready for any kind of challenge,” Dalot said.

The Dutchman according to reports is not one who likes to concede a goal as he has reported had the team do push ups each time a goal was conceded in training.

Which is prove he would be a lot more harsh should the team lack composure and focus to concede 2 goals after leading with 2 goals in the game.
