It is no news that Nigerian model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World in 2001, Agbani Darego, is married to Ishaya, the first son of former Defence Minister, Theophilus Danjuma.

She is pictured above with her husband and her in-laws, General Danjuma, his wife Senator Daisy Danjuma, her brother-in-law Theo with his fiancee Lousie Green and others.

Prior to winning MBGN, Darego featured in print commercials for boutique chain Collectables, and following her stint at Miss Universe was invited by Naomi Campbell to participate in Frock ‘n’ Roll – a charity fashion show in Barcelona, soon negotiating a modelling deal with Trump Model Management in America.

n April 2017, Darego married her longtime partner Ishaya Danjuma, son of billionaire General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, in a ceremony held in Marrakesh. Together, they have a son who was born in September 2018 and welcomed another child with her husband in December 2020.
