Ex Anambra lawmaker beheaded by unknown gunmen
Headless body of physically challenged former Anambra State Lawmaker, Nelson Achukwu was identified by relatives.
The yet-to-be identified gunmen beheaded the deceased after he was kidnapped by the killers on June 9.
Nelson Achukwu was said to have been abducted at about 10:15 pm of the said date and efforts to rescue him proved futile after his body was found headless.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, the headless remains of the late Achukwu was found at the boundary between Uke and Ukpor axis of the state.
Mr. Ikenga said an investigation was still ongoing while assuring that the command would do everything within its powers to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.
