Evi Edna Ogholi was born in Isoko, Delta State “Midwest Region” on 6th of July 1965. She is a Nigerian female reggae musician. Ogholi was born to the household of Reverend R. O. Ogholirly.

Ogholi vacated from the music scene in Nigeria in 1990, she left for France to start volunteering for Unicef, a non-profit activity which took her almost nineteen years of her precious time, which was unbearable to her fans worldwide as they could not hear new album releases from Ogholi, rumor speculated on instagram Facebook and other popular blogs that the music legend had passed on. In 2020, Obaland Magazine published the breaking news of Ogholi’s signing a five-year record deal with Enorecords, Ogholi finally confirmed the million dollar record deal with Enorecords, owned by a Nigeria reggae star Winning Jah, during her interview with BBC Pidgin and Splash 105.5 FM Ibadan. Shortly with the indie record label in August 2020, she released an EP under the imprint, titled Peace and Love, the EP contained a remix of her most popular song “Happy Birthday” the EP was produced mix and mastered by a Nigerian multiple award winner, Ayemere Joshua, commonly known by his stage name “Jossy Joe” an in house music producer to Enorecords LLC.
She married her producer and manager Emma Ogosi, the marriage was blessed with two children: Dumebi Odezi Ogosi and Adora Onome Ogosi. The couple later separated and Ogholi is living in Paris.
In 2020, she was honored and endorsed as the brand Ambassador of Hope and Peace to Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organisation in Nigeria and Ireland to host Nigeria and Ireland largest humanitarian 12th edition award event.
