Erik Ten Hag On What It Takes To Make Regular Appearances

Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho is the latest academy sensation to make his mark known in the Red Devils’ first team squad this season, and for Erik ten Hag, making it reoccurring thing would go farther than just being good with the ball.

Alejandro Garnacho has been cautioned by the manager of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, that he must have the proper attitude in order to play frequently.

During the second half of their Carabao Cup match against Aston Villa, the 18-year-old player was inserted.

After the hosts fell behind to an Ollie Watkins goal, the dynamic forward assisted United in completing a fine comeback victory.

With goals from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay and two assists from Garnacho during his cameo, United triumphed 4-2.

“I think it was good that when he came on he showed performance that he has an impact in the game.

“Can he have a regular role? Depends on how his approach, how his attitude, when he keeps working.

“That he keeps the attitude he wants to improve every day and he’s doing the right things in his lifestyle, then it’s possible,” Ten Hag said.

On Sunday, United will play Fulham in their final match before clubs pause for the 2022 World Cup.
