Erik ten Hag Dumps De Jong For Bellingham

Jude Bellingham is one of the hottest name and prospects on the internet now owing to his performance on the pitch for Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund.

The English midfielder has so far being linked with a number of clubs such as Real Madrid who have made their interests in getting the midfielder into their ranks to pair with the likes of Tchouameni and Camanviga.

Jude Bellingham is also linked with a move to two other Premier League sides, Liverpool and Manchester City, with reports stating the Dortmund star may be tempted with a return to the Premier League over playing in the La Liga.

However reports states that current Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag is setting his eyes on Bellingham and casting his interest on Barcelona star, De Jong.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has prioritized Jude Bellingham over Frenkie de Jong in the midfield.

The Red Devils’ #1 objective for the summer window was De Jong. However, they failed to persuade the Dutchman to leave Barcelona.

Instead, United moved on to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid for £70 million.

Ten Hag is still eager to improve his midfield options even further at the end of the year.

Ten Hag wants the club to prioritize signing Bellingham, 19, next summer, via the Daily Mirror.

The United manager has been offered even more money to enhance his team, and he and the team’s football director John Murtough decided on Bellingham.

It would very much take a lot of convincing to push Bellingham to Old Trafford if reports claiming Manchester City and Real Madrid are interested in getting his signature on their books.

The current Manchester United project, though quite positive, isn’t as convincing as the project at Real Madrid or under Pep Guardiola’s management at Manchester City. That being said, time will tell for the English teenager.
