Erik 'Seven' Hag: United Fans Convinced Ten Hag Wanted 7 Goals

Manchester United fans jokingly suggested that manager Erik ten Hag asked for three more goals during their Europa League match against Real Betis, following their 7-0 defeat to Liverpool last Sunday.

Man United’s 4-1 win was a much-needed morale boost for the team, and fans couldn’t help but notice Ten Hag’s gesture during the match, where he made a “three gesture” with his fingers when the team was already 4-1 up.

The Manchester United Fans speculated that he was telling his players they owed him three more goals, with one user jokingly stating, “Ten Hag telling the players they owe him THREE more goals.”

While the gesture was likely a tactical command, United fans used it as an opportunity to make light of the team’s recent struggles.

The victory over Real Betis was a strong response to their humiliating defeat against Liverpool, where Ten Hag criticized the team’s professionalism. The Anfield defeat saw Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Mo Salah all score, with Roberto Firmino adding to United’s misery.

However, United’s win over Real Betis was a chance for the team to redeem themselves, and goals from Marcus Rashford, Antony, Bruno Fernandes, and Wout Weghorst, who scored his first goal at Old Trafford, helped the team to a comfortable victory.

United will take a three-goal lead to Andalusia for the second leg of their Europa League tie against Real Betis and will look to build on their win when they face Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday at Old Trafford.
