EPL: Nicolás Otamendi Extends Man City Contract Until 2022
Manchester City defender, Nicolás Otamendi, has signed a new five-year-contract extension with the Premier league leaders.
The new deal will keep the Argentine International at the Etihad until 2022.
The Citizens confirmed the new deal on Wednesday via a post on their official twitter account and City’s official website.
The tweet reads: “Sir, yes sir! The General@Notamendi30 has today signed a new deal!”
Otamendi has been hailed as City’s “Superman” on more than one occasion by Guardiola after popping up with an impressive five goals this season.
The 29-year-old has made 118 appearances for City since joining from Valencia.
