England makes a big deal of everything—Suarez

Darwin Nunez left a lot of the Liverpool fan base disappointed after his violent conduct in the draw against Crystal Palace, and of course drew comparisons to former Liverpool player, Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez during his time in England was a figure of many controversies and like his compatriot now faces, went on a few match bans himself as a result of poor conduct.

But of course, according to the former Barcelona player, he admits the errors of his youthful years and admits he could have done things differently if he had the chance.

Suarez speaking of the incident that resulted in Darwin Nunez being red carded, he revealed he spoke to the Uruguay international immediately after the incident.

The former Liverpool striker proceeded to advise his compatriot to learn from his mistakes and not to keep repeating them, especially now that the Premier League knows his weakness.

Luis Suarez judges that England very often took little things too seriously and make a big deal out of it for the trend.

In an interview with Telemundo, Suarez said of the incident and his message to Nunez:

England makes a big deal of everything—Suarez

“Because he is just starting out and to make him aware that from now on, opponents will be seeking him out twice or three times more often.

“Even more so in England, he’s hearing this from an idiot who makes mistakes and suffers for them, but falling down and getting up again made me stronger.

“Don’t give them any more chances, it will only get worse.”

“Darwin is someone who listens a lot. He is very smart that way and I think he will try to turn this situation around, it’s not a big deal, we have all made mistakes, we have all been sent off.

“The problem is that he’s only just arrived over there and in England, to put it lightly, they make a big deal out of everything,” the former Barcelona star added.

Suarez now plays in his native country, Nacional, after being let go by Atletico Madrid.

The player was most known during his time at Anfield for his controversy specifically the case with Patrice Evra and the world cup where he was caught biting Juventus legend, Giorgio Chiellini.
