We Don't Feel Like Champions -- Xavi Hernandez

Barcelona’s new head coach, Xavi Hernandez, has released the squad list for their upcoming Copa del Rey clash with El Clasico rivals Real Madrid. The match is set to take place at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

The former Barcelona midfielder named a 22-man squad for the El Clasico showdown, which was announced on Barcelona’s official website on Saturday. The squad includes familiar names such as goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, defenders Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba, midfielders Frenkie de Jong and Sergi Roberto, and forwards Ansu Fati and Raphinha.

Xavi has also included some lesser-known names, such as young defenders Eric Garcia and Alejandro Balde, as well as midfielder Ilaix Moriba. However, there was no place in the squad for Philippe Coutinho, who is currently recovering from injury.

Barcelona are currently sitting at the top of the La Liga table, with nine points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid. They come into the match after a narrow 1-0 win against Athletic Club in their last La Liga outing.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are currently fourth in the league table and are looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Mallorca in their previous match.

The El Clasico clash is set to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams eager to claim the three points and assert their dominance in the league. The match is scheduled to kick off at 9 pm on Sunday.
