Published

on

Eight women have reportedly been kidnapped in Gwombe village, Gwargwada, Kuje area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The victims were abducted while working on their farm, and the incident occurred just 48 hours after gunmen kidnapped the father of the vice chairman of Kwali Area Council, along with six others, in Yewuti village in Kwali.

The attackers, armed with AK-47 rifles, surrounded the women, who were harvesting benni seed. It is suspected that the same group of gunmen, who had escaped from a neighboring village, was responsible for the abductions.
