EFCC set to arrest Cubana Chief Priest

Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) still has some scores to settle with some of Nigeria’s socialites over the issue of Naira abuse and the latest name on their list is famed celebrity, Cubana Chief Priest.

The Crimes Commission are reported to have taken legal action against the Instagram sensation known formally by his real name Pascal Okechukwu, for alleged abuse of the Nigerian currency, the naira.

In a three-count charge, the EFCC has accused Cubana Chief Priest of violating currency laws. The charges are set to be presented before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos. The arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17.

Cubana Chief Priest, known for his lavish lifestyle showcased on social media, is now facing legal consequences for his alleged misconduct regarding the handling of the national currency.

This development marks a significant step in the EFCC’s efforts to enforce financial regulations and combat illicit financial activities in Nigeria.

The abuse of the Nigerian currency has been something the EFCC now frowns upon with their recent victim, Bobrisky facing its tune with a 6-month prison jail term after pleading guilty to the misdemeanor.
