EFCC arraigns Former speaker
Former speaker of house of representatives, Patricia Etteh has been arraigned by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Having been elected as Nigeria’s only female to be elected Speaker in 2007, Etteh faces fraud allegation over Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) contract.
The anti-graft agency arrested her in Abuja on Tuesday May 17.
Etteh resigned has a speaker few months after her appointment as speaker amid allegations of financial misappropriation.
