Don't play like Arsenal -- Gary Neville warns Manchester United

Former Manchester United player and current pundit Gary Neville has warned the team not to approach the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City in the same way Arsenal did during their Premier League match last Wednesday.

Arsenal suffered a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City, who are currently second in the league, just one point behind leaders Manchester United. Neville believes that United can win the FA Cup if they deploy the right tactics and formation, saying that they have “more chances than Real Madrid in a one-off game at Wembley.”

Neville also commented on why Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been leaving midfielder Fred on the bench.

According to Neville, ten Hag has been opting for Sabitzer over Fred because he can hold the ball better. Neville explained that “He’s left Fred out for the last few months because he wants Eriksen. I’ve got a little bit of an insight into why Fred’s not playing, Sabitzer is playing because he can hold [the ball].”

Manchester United’s hopes of finishing in the top four were kept alive after their 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Manchester City beat Fulham 2-1 to climb to the top of the table, leapfrogging over Arsenal. However, Arsenal still have a chance to regain the top spot if they win their upcoming match against struggling Chelsea on Monday. Manchester City have two games in hand and could be four points clear of Manchester United if they win both games.

The FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on June 1st. Manchester City are aiming to secure a treble, having already won the Carabao Cup and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they will face Real Madrid.
