“Don’t place curse on Nigeria” – Tinubu tells Imams, Pastors

Nigeria’s number one citizen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called the attention of religious leaders against condemning and cursing the nation during their sermons and messages.
Tinubu made this plead during Ramadan Iftar with traditional rulers and religious leaders at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
according to the Nigerian president, if a leader is bad, the Imams, pastors and citizens should wait for 2027 general elections so they can vote out the person. He also charged religious leaders to be more constructive in their criticism of those in elective positions.
